Oils perform many of the same functions in plants as they do for us. Thus, they come to us as experienced & trained agents for health and healing.

What are essential oils?

IMG_9470.jpg

An essential oil is a naturally fragrant compound that is extracted from a plant. Pure essential oils are high vibrational and are revered for their therapeutic value. While these oils are applied topically, they are absorbed through the skin and can circulate to the brain/ nervous system, directly influencing our emotions. These oils work to calm your mind/body, decrease stress/anxiety and can enhance your overall sense of well-being. Essential oils are filled with natural anti-viral & anti-bacterial properties that can supercharge the immune system and help keep infections at bay.

How are essential oils used?

In treatment, these oils will be delicately applied to specific acupuncture points and reflex zones. This application creates an invitation for the body to relax, unwind and heal. The treatment is deeply relaxing and can be a wonderful alternative to acupuncture or highly effective when used in tandem.

Essential oil therapy can be added to an existing acupuncture treatment ( 15- 30 mins, for an additional fee) or offered as Acupressure Aromatherapy ( no needles) for a full hour session.
