Mary Heaven M.S. L.Ac. is a board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture through the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York. She is a graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture ‘s three-year Master’s of Science in Acupuncture program. During her clinical training, she was exposed to three different styles of Acupuncture: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese style Acupuncture and Acupuncture Physical Medicine (trigger point release therapy). Mary specializes in Cosmetic Acupuncture & Gua Sha- natural facial therapies that repattern the way the skin ages, creating a healthy & lustrous glow from the inside out, while healing the body and promoting youth sans chemicals. Her work is deeply focused on treating psycho-emotional disorders(anxiety, depression, PTSD), musculoskeletal conditions, lymphatic health & reconditioning the nervous system to aid the body in recovering from bouts of acute stress. Her offerings range from body acupuncture, to cupping, to Gua Sha, anti-aging facial treatments to promote natural healing and empower your life path.

She was born and raised in the town of Greenwich, CT and at the age of 18 was diagnosed with Lyme disease. After years of being encumbered by this illness, she became completely determined to break ground on her path to wellness. In this time, she was swiftly guided to seek out a more holistic approach to life.  During such time, she was introduced to the world of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, where some of the greatest shifts in her health & well-being ensued. After experiencing the profound effects of regular Acupuncture treatments, she felt compelled to begin professional training in a full-time Master’s program.

Her recent certifications include training with Acupuncturists Without Borders, to heal community trauma and mobilize relief efforts & successful completion of the first nationally recognized 100-hour Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture program, taught by Shellie Goldstein, L.Ac. Mary is also a certified Breathwork healer and was trained by David Elliot & Erin Telford.

Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, and is passionate about connecting you with your internal rhythm so that you can skillfully manage your outer world & live a harmonious life.

Mary believes that being present in your body and connecting with your heart center is where the healing transpires. When you feel good, you look good and your posture towards everything shifts.
